LNG Canada 3D Motion Graphics

The brief was to create a piece of 3D animation to segue into a much larger live action piece. The animation needed to demonstrate the safe use of the Douglas Channel in Canada by LNG vessels and Shells commitment to the environment and the local population. The challenge was to create the environment as accurately as possible and to do this we used a fantastic plugin for C4D called DEM Earth, this enabled us to create the terrain using satellite elevation data, we then had to texture and light everything to make it look more realistic.
